Before the Maafa (the African enslavement process), us Africans were practising our OWN INDIGENOUS
spiritual systems. We created names for the Creator such as KATONDA (Uganda), MUSIKI (Zimbabwe) , NZAMBI MPUNGU (Angola), MWIN (Burkina Faso),
AUSAR, AUSET, DJEHUTY, PTAH, MA'AT, etc.(ancient Kemet(egypt)), ULIMWENGU (Swahili
term),
RANGE (Kenya), CHUKWU (Nuer people), OLUDUMARE, OLORUN (Ifa (Yoruba
tradition)), KLE (Bambara)...
the list goes on ad infinitum. Before the Maafa, we had rituals, ceremonies, holy days which
gave reverence to these Creative forces as well as to the ancestral realm and those yet to be born.
We were/are a holistic people. Then the savage, barbaric, brutish, hateful, bad-smellin', non-spiritual
caucasoids/europeans came and destroyed our NATURAL way of life and continued to do what the hateful
arabs had done--continued to give us FOREIGN, ALIEN GODS. And they also laughed at and eventually made
us laugh at and hate our Creator, in our image, venerated OUR WAY.
WE MUST RETURN TO OUR ORIGINAL WAYS OF VENERATION IF THE POWERS OF THE UNIVERSE ARE EVER TO BE IN
OUR FAVOR AGAIN!!!
The traditions of our Ancestors WILL once again be lifted up and we will shout their names aloud

Yes, I have purposely kept this topic up because this is
our most serious obstacle towards LIBERATION.

CHRISTIAN MYTHOLOGY
Afrikan people especially in the united states have been trying to MAKE (force) foreign religions to be Afrikan. We have
colored jesus black (hell, everyone in the bible); we have taken over allah; we are even morons, oops I mean mormons but the
KEY question that is not asked is:
WHAT WERE AFRIKAN PEOPLE DOING SPIRITUALLY BEFORE
EUROPEANS/ARABS/HINDU INDIANS
CAME TO THE CONTINENT???
This question also goes beyond just changing the images! Why are we sooooooooooooooooooooo
afraid to reculture ourselves spiritually? We have people who can quote every African centered author, every vital book for Afrikan people,
been to ALL ASCAC conferences, but they still subscribe to FOREIGN RELIGIONS!!! caucasoids have not only done a good job at getting
Afrikans to hate/fear Afrikan ways but
they have also made the WHOLE WORLD fear/hate these processes.
WE WILL NEVER BE TRULY FREE UNTIL WE RETURN TO OUR AFRIKAN SPIRITUALITY !!!
Also to squash one silly argument now, this author has done enough study of our indigenous systems to know that there is actually
more similiarity in concepts than individual practices and names. I say this because some argue, "Africa is so diverse that there is no "African
Spirituality."
This has been studied and can be concretely refuted as not true. As Dr. Diop let us know there was a Cultural Unity, within that, there is a
Spiritual Unity.
All over the continent, we understand the importance of spirituality in our daily lives; we understand the use and effectiveness of Ancestor
Veneration-all over the continent;
we created Creation Stories 1) before EVERYONE ELSE 2) BEFORE the LEGEND of an adam or eve, and 3) that are more profound and
explain the Universe BETTER than the genesis stuff; we understand the principle
of Duality and the encompassing "ONE," this could go on and on. The main point is that over and over again back home, the spiritual concepts are
where the spiritual unity of the continent express themselves, so readers, please never let anyone snow you with this fallacious, unresearched,
uneducated argument.
This is covering a lot, but going back to the first point, I challenge my Afrikan readers who "call" themselves African Centered to ask yourselves,
"Why am I afraid to return to an ancient/traditional Afrikan Spiritual system in my own day-to-day life? What has been implanted into MY
OWN psyche
to make me fear the DEEPEST/MOST PROFOUND part of my Afrikan self? And what will it take for me to uproot this incorrect information
and fully return home?"
These are individual questions that only each person can answer and change for themselves.
"Oppression REQUIRES the dissociation of the oppressed from themselves; that they deny themselves, in service to their oppressors;
that they avoid identifying with their ORIGINAL PERSONALITY and perceive identification with it as detrimental to their survival.

Eminent european scholar Gerald Massey was asked should the bible be taught in schools in the early 1900's. This was his response:

Boukman's Righteous Prayer

These are writers who I have found over my traversing through dusty journals or books jumping off of shelves at
me, etc., dealing w/ Afrika that I have never heard referenced or some have never seen in any bibliographies. I would like to know first, if you have
